Who we are
We are the Macleods from Australia and we are the founders and owners of The Hummingbird Estate.
This beautiful business started with a dream in our hearts and a bold step of faith which meant packing up our family a few years ago and moving to the United states. God called and our little family responded with “yes God”
We were both raised by culinary phenomenons. Beloved Lexi Macleod one of Camden Australia’s most loved chef’s and business owners and Roelien Olivier one of the greatest culture cuisine chefs in South Africa. So a love for food has always been in our families. We cook over fire which is my husband and father’s heritage and way of bringing such a beautiful flavor to everything we cook.
Our heart has always been inivting people to the table, a place that is special and something where you can come as you are be loved on.
Creating a Legacy
We took what we both were raised with and what we love about food and what our kids want to share with their generation about food and created a company that reflects exactly that. Our love for the comunity and non comunity farmers that invests and harvest then giving us the opportunity to create and pour out our hearts into creating something that will not only feed you but feeds your soul. We love working and creating along side each other creating such a special bond and educating our next generation in what beautiful and healthy food looks like.
We are blessed to be in Tennessee US and to create new friendships to cultivate and share all of our culinary gifts. So with many dreams and ideas in our hearts we cannot wait to be part of your next event or to have you sit at our beautiful table

The Table
The Table is especially something dear to us. A word God spoke over us many many years back about the table in our home. “There will never be an empty seat. I will fill it with all kinds of people from all walks of life and I will fill them” all for His glory. ts a place where we share the harvest and comunity. Where we come as we are and be part of something bigger than ourselves. It’s a place where we celebrate with amazing people and food that builds memories for a life time. It simply coming to the table and finding you have always had a place and its here.
